The Red Tibetan Mastiff, in recent days can be considered status symbol, with people paying more for them than cars and other luxe pieces for uber rich millionaires around the world. Owned by a coal baron in northern China, this cute little pooch is priced at $ 1.5 million. The 180 pound, 11 month old Mastiff known as “Hong-Dong” in Mandarin has been bred secretly in China. Tibetan Mastiffs have always been considered as holy animals in China and are believed to bring peace, good health and wealth to their owners. These descendants of wolves have surely won hearts and remain an integral part of China’s grandness.
